What is 'The Objective Inquirer'?
'The Objective Inquirer' is an independent and ad-free run newsletter that reports unbiased news and perspectives on the most contested questions in politics and the media.
'The Objective Inquirer' will, with no exceptions, report just the facts on every issue, without bias or opinion. In addition, 'The Objective Inquirer' will objectively describe and report on all perspectives on any issue covered.
Why create 'The Objective Inquirer'?
It is a fact that the United States has become increasingly more politically polarized in the past 30 years. Some argue it is due to the internet and social media. Others blame mainstream media outlets for prioritizing money and corporate power over truth.
Nonetheless, this polarization has resulted in a political environment in which one’s confirmation bias has led to an unwillingness to listen to or understand another person’s viewpoint, or even worse have a false sense of reality.
'The Objective Inquirer' aims to be a platform to combat confirmation bias and false truths in two ways:
1) By creating an outlet in which anyone can come to understand and agree upon objective facts.
2) By creating an outlet in which one is able to listen to and understand a wide range of perspectives that is different from one’s own in a civic and objective way without bias reporting.
'The Objective Inquirer' will not be trying to achieve a certain narrative. 'The Objective Inquirer' will not be telling anyone what or how to think. 'The Objective Inquirer' will not prioritize money and power over truth.
On the contrary, 'The Objective Inquirer' will report the necessary and objective facts. 'The Objective Inquirer' will report on all perspectives of every situation or issue. 'The Objective Inquirer' will report what is true, no matter how the truth affects the bottom line.
